SUMMARY:Cancelled – Volunteer Maintenance Outing – Mickeleens Path
DESCRIPTION:Due to high temperatures & air quality concerns due to wildfire, this outing is unfortunately cancelled. \nThe next scheduled Volunteer Maintenance Outing is Saturday, August 23rd on Sugarloaf Path.\nCome help us prune trees and vegetation on the East Coast Trail! The outing may include activities such as brushing, lopping, trimming, slash carry, fire pit remediation and water bar clearing.  Hand tools, such as lopers and pruning shears, will be used. Hikers must be prepared to hike at least 3 km (approximately 1 hour, both in and out) while carrying tools.\nDue to the outing on July 26th on Mickeleens Path being cancelled due to heavy rain, we will try again!\nPre-registration for this outing is required but experience is not! We will provide training in East Coast Trail pruning standards at the beginning of the outing.
