East Coast Trail Association
Full-Time Permanent, On-Site in St. John’s, NL

The ECTA is a registered charity and not-for-profit responsible for the management, maintenance and protection of the East Coast Trail. Our mission is to provide a sustainable wilderness hiking experience by enhancing, protecting, developing, and maintaining the Trail, a 336 km coastal wilderness hiking trail on the eastern edge of Newfoundland’s Avalon Peninsula.  

We are recruiting for our Business Manager, a critical support role to the President & CEO, and the Executive Committee.  In this position, you are accountable for the day-to-day office operations and will work closely with the Engagement Coordinator and the Trail Manager to ensure the success of trail maintenance and management of plans and programs.  

You will professionally represent the ECTA to strategic partners and stakeholders, manage the Association’s website and social media content, plan and execute key events, and establish sound systems and processes supporting sales, recruitment and hiring, marketing and communications, volunteer and member experience, and other aspects of operations.
