Beginning on August 10th, 2026, construction will be taking place on Marine Drive in the Town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove. This is expected to continue until November 30th, 2026. The road will be closed from Chad’s Lane to Lower Road.

Hikers may have trouble accessing the Outer Cove trailhead for Silver Mine Head Path.

Traffic to/from Dorans Lane will be redirected along Outer Cove Road and Barnes Road, as indicated below.
