Annual Awards Night: Accepting Nominations for 2012

Nominations are now open for the annual Flamber Head Award given by ECTA to honour members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to volunteerism and the association. These volunteers exemplify leadership, creativity, cooperation and hard work.

And, of course: join us on the evening of Monday 16 April 2012 as the East Coast Trail Association honours volunteers who exemplify the association’s mission-centered commitment to the Trail. A pot luck supper at the Suncor Energy Fluvarium gets underway at 7:00 p.m. and awards will be made at 8:00 p.m.

Our association is led by volunteers, said Randy Murphy, President. Many have made an outstanding contribution to the Association, and therefore to the community, through volunteer service. We wish to recognize their integrity and commitment to excellence.

The Association will recognize recipients of the Flamber Head Award for volunteerism and the annual Clipper Award for maintenance support.

Nominations for the Flamber Head Award will be accepted until Monday April 9, 2012.
