About This Path:

This gentle beachside, wooded path is suitable for families and features shore and island views. Beach access is available at Deep Cove, Kearneys Beach, Beachy Cove, and Lower Beach. Kearneys Point, Tinkers Point, and Vales Meadow are popular spots for picnicking, along with seabird and whale watching. Note, Tinkers Point Path is subject to erosion by ocean currents. Facilities are limited in both Mobile and Tors Cove.

Path Advisory: No path clearing or conditions updates take place during winter months. Map recommended. Trail-rated footwear required.
Access Points:
  • Mobile - Park at the Mobile Central High School on Highway 10. After crossing the river, turn left onto Gus O'Riellys Road, and continue uphill on Lower Road to the junction with Cod Seine Cove Road, turn left and proceed to trailhead. Limited parking is available at the trailhead.
  • Tors Cove - Highway 10 bends sharply right at the top of a hill, before descending into the community. At the bend, turn sharply left onto Back Road. Follow the lane around High Hill and park in the designated area at the former site of Sacred Heart Church. Cross the road to the trailhead.

Community Walk  Getting to La Manche Village Path: After exiting the trail from the Tors Cove trailhead, follow Back Road for 150 m, Cove Road for 150 m, and Power House Road (Mall Road) for 500 m to the La Manche Village trailhead (total: 800 m).
