Dear valued Members, Partners and the ECTA Community;

We, like you, are actively following the fast moving COVID-19 virus. This global pandemic is presenting new challenges and uncertainties every day as it continues to evolve in our province and beyond. We recognize it is our collective responsibility to help contain the spread of the virus, and our number one priority is to help protect the health and well-being of our staff, our volunteers and our community.

As a prudent first step, to do our part, we have decided to temporarily close our office effective Wednesday, March 18th. Our staff and volunteers will work from home for the foreseeable future. All meetings, including the Board of Directors, will be conducted virtually. It will be business as usual, just from our homes, as we remain accessible to serve you and answer your questions. An update will be provided next week regarding our Awards Night, scheduled for April 30th, and our annual fundraiser, the Trail Raiser, scheduled for June 6th.

If you have any questions or concerns you can reach us at information@eastcoasttrail.com or 709-738-4453.

In this time of social distancing, take care of yourself, check in on your loved ones, and remember those who may be in need. We will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 developments and will continue to take direction from the health authorities. Stay healthy and together we can get through this.

– Randy Murphy, President
