Film Showing: “What a Way to Go!” with Hervé Magnin

Film “What a Way to Go!” with French film-maker and artist Hervé Magnin, followed by discussion and music with the film-maker. This one-hour documentary covers his trip by electric scooter from his home in France through Scandinavia to the North Cape, the northernmost point in continental Europe. It’s a remarkable adventure, with a clear environmental message and political insights as well as delightful encounters along the way. You might get lucky and hear some of the wonderful music from the film played live.

When: Sunday, October 5th, 7 pm

Where: Stiles Cove Chalet, Satellite Road, Pouch Cove.

How to get there: From St. John’s, take Hwy 20 north. Shortly after entering Pouch Cove, turn Right on Satellite Road. The Chalet at the Stiles Cove Recreation Complex will be on your right, just over half a kilometre in.
