Executive Roles Available on the ECTA Board of Directors

Are you a passionate volunteer with leadership and professional expertise? Three executive positions are available on the ECTA’s Board of Directors:

Vice-President, Land & Legal Committee

The vice-president is responsible for the mandate of the L&L committee, reports into the President and is a member of the Board of Directors. The vice-president is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, planning, resourcing and executing the work plans required to protect and preserve the Trail and support the business of the Association. The functional scope of the committee includes: setting & implementing L&L strategy, land investigation & analysis, issues resolution, town plans, research & legislation, lobbying for trail protection, legal counsel and team building.

Vice-President, Marketing & Communications Committee

The vice-president is responsible for the mandate of the M&C committee, reports into the President and is a member of the Board of Directors. The vice-president is responsible for leading and advising on building awareness of the Trail & Association, defining and promoting its offerings and services, expanding its visitor base and enhancing our reputation. The functional scope of the committee includes: setting & implementing marketing & communication strategy, trade shows, advertising, public relations, website, social media, newsletters and team building.

Vice-President, Fundraising & Revenue Committee

The vice-president is responsible for the mandate of the F&R committee, reports into the President and is a member of the Board of Directors. The vice-president is responsible for securing funding, increasing charitable giving and overseeing all fundraising and revenue programs. The functional scope of the committee includes: setting & implementing funding strategy, funding proposals, fundraising campaigns, special events, product/service development & sales and team building.

Director positions (non-executive) on the board are also available.
Elections to the board will take place at the annual general meeting on September 28th.
