Rally up a team of friends, family, coworkers, or just your own two feet for the East Coast Trail “Trail Raiser On the Go” from September 12 to November 6. Participants are encouraged to complete self-guided hikes, following the suggested schedule, engage in activities each session, and fundraise for the East Coast Trail along the way.

Throughout the Trail Raiser On the Go, hikers can choose to complete any or all of the three selected paths for each session and win fun prizes along the way! 

To complement each session’s hikes, we have partnered with local businesses along the ECT to offer Trail Raiser On the Go participants fun activities to try over the fall season. More information about the activity schedule will be shared soon, so be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox! Note, the above schedule of activities is tentative and subject to change. 




We are targeting a fundraising goal of $50,000 to help maintain, enhance, and develop the East Coast Trail in 2023. To help us reach our fundraising goal, all participants must raise a minimum of $50 and attempt to raise $250 – this can be donated by the participant or fundraised from friends and family. Help us meet this challenge, and if realized, we will meet/exceed our fundraising goal of $50,000 for this fundraiser.

How Are These Funds Used?
Funds raised in 2021 are being used this year to enhance Tinkers Point Path (completed in August 2022), the south end of Bear Cove Point Path (ongoing), and Island Meadow Path (starting soon). These enhancements include replacing damaged structures and clearing overgrown areas of the paths. 

Funds raised this year will be used for trail maintenance projects and enhancements of sections of the Stiles Cove Path in 2023.



Closing Event
Join us the evening of November 6, at Quidi Vidi Brewery to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished for the Trail over the course of the Trail Raiser On the Go. There will be entertainment, refreshments (including Pathfinder IPA beer!), and even more prizes, including the final Grand Draw prize. More information about the closing event will be communicated soon. 


Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 team and individual fundraisers. In addition, two draw prizes will be awarded per session. All registered hikers who have fundraised the minimum $50 are eligible for the draw prize(s).
