Having Tely Hike technical difficulties? Try updating your web browser.
Wednesday, May 25, 2016
ECTA has tested the 2016 Tely Hike web page on Mac and Windows operating systems, on desktop computers, laptops, ipads, iphones, android smartphones and android tablets to make sure that it’s accessible using current, standard website browsers (i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari).
1. If you are experiencing difficulty accessing the Tely Hike page, it may be due to a recent security protocol update which makes purchasing things safer online, but impacts how some older browsers complete secure transactions – such as registering for the Tely Hike.
To solve this issue, we suggest updating your browser to the most recent version – locate that browser’s website and follow download instructions.
2. If youv’e found this notification, you’ve entered the eastcoasttrail web URL correctly. But if sending others to our website, do make sure they have the correct one – www.eastcoasttrail.ca,
www.eastcoasttrail.ca/tely_hike or
www.eastcoasttrail.com –
will all get users to our website where they can register or sponsor you.
Common misspellings which will not work are www.eastcoasttrial (we love the trail but don’t mean to be a “trial”) and www.eastcoastrail – can’t forget that second ‘t’ – wonderful though an east coast rail service might be…
