Effective for July 9 – 10, 2024

Hiker Advisory for July 9 and July 10: There will be filming taking place on Stiles Cove Path near Pouch Cove. As a result, a portion of the path will be temporarily closed to hikers, and a detour has been put in place.

To access Stiles Cove Path from Pouch Cove, hikers will need to use the detour route outlined in the attached images.

For the duration of the detour, the following changes will temporarily be in place:

• Hiker parking for Stiles Cove Path in Pouch Cove will be located at the Pouch Cove Ball Field, not the St. Agnes Church parking lot. The Ball Field is located at 794 Main Rd, Pouch Cove.
• Access to Stiles Cove Path from Pouch Cove will be made via Hollow Cove Road located off Old Road, and the detour access path listed below. Access from behind the Post Office will be temporarily unavailable for the duration of the detour.
• Shuttles will be available from the Pouch Cove Ball Field to the Hollow Cove Road Temporary Access Path, and back, to reduce the impact on hikers.
