It's not about the distance. It's not about the time. It's about what happens when you stand on a headland above the North Atlantic and remember that some things are bigger than your inbox, your deadlines, and your to-do list.
The East Coast Trail is 336 km of that feeling. TrailRaiser exists so it stays that way — maintained, open, and wild — for everyone who needs a reason to keep going.
The trail can't take care of itself. Every registration, every fundraising page, every dollar raised goes directly to the trail that brought you here.
Every registered hiker has a personal fundraising page. That page — shared with your people — is the single most powerful thing you can do for this trail between now and June 6.

Do I need to fundraise to participate?
No. Registration on Zeffy is all that's required to hike. But every registered hiker is in the prize draws, and every $50 raised earns an additional entry.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Donations of $20 or more are eligible. Online donations through Zeffy generate an automatic receipt. For cash or cheque, collect the donor's full name, mailing address, email, and phone number so ECTA can issue manually.
How does the Trail Race work?
The Trail Race requires two registrations: Zeffy (same as all hikers) plus a separate timed race registration on UltraSignUp. Both must be completed before race day.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes — the Family Hike (#1) is designed for all ages. Participants under 18 need a parent or guardian to accept the event waiver during registration. Pet-free event; service animals welcome.
When will routes for Hikes #2–#4 be confirmed?
Full check-in times and route details sent to all registered participants by Monday, June 1.
Can I donate without registering?
Yes — through any participant's personal fundraising page, or sponsor a team or individual via Zeffy.
