Trail Closure: Section of Father Troy’s Trail Path (until further notice)
Due to falling rocks from cliffs around Tappers Cove, Father Troy’s Trail Path is closed between Ocean View Hill and Morris Avenue. ECTA barriers have been installed at these path intersections.
Hikers are asked to exit the trail at these points and hike around the Tappers Cove area by using these side roads and walking along Torbay Road.
The closure will stay in effect until the cliff area is secured by the Torbay Harbour Authority. This posting will be updated as more information becomes available.
