Volunteer Opportunity: Vice President, Fundraising & Revenue

Help Shape the Future of Canada’s Trail Legacy!  We are seeking a strategic and experienced fundraising leader to join our team as Vice President, Fundraising & Revenue (VP-FR). This executive role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of Canada’s most significant recreational trail networks while building innovative and sustainable funding solutions for its future.

About the Role

As VP-FR, you will lead all fundraising and revenue-generating initiatives, directing a dedicated team of volunteer professionals, serving on our Executive Committee and Board of Directors. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to ensure the long-term sustainability of our trail system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies across multiple channels
  • Lead and mentor a committee of volunteer professionals managing distinct portfolios
  • Drive corporate partnership development and donor relationship management
  • Oversee signature fundraising events and community engagement initiatives
  • Guide project funding initiatives and grant proposals
  • Develop innovative revenue streams through diverse products and services
  • Ensure effective financial management and resource allocation
