The East Coast Trail Association (ECTA) is a registered charity and not-for-profit responsible for the East Coast Trail, a wilderness hiking trail with 336 kilometres of developed trail. Our mission is to provide a wilderness hiking experience by developing and maintaining the ECT, promoting public access, minimizing its impact on the natural environment and protecting it for future generations.

We are recruiting for our Engagement Coordinator, a critical support role for our Association office, reporting to the Business Manager. In this position, you are responsible for administrative work which supports the objectives of the Association and the maintenance, enhancement, development, and protection of the ECT.

You will professionally represent the ECTA to various suppliers to support the development of our Trail Shop, produce content for the Association’s website and social media, support key administrative support for the day-to-day and special events, and support volunteer recruitment and retention.

You are an agile worker and can take the initiative to explore new development opportunities. You are willing to jump into new projects as needed and have a great passion for the mission of the Association. You are creative, have excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. We encourage you to review the full job description here.
